Description
Peter Hart is Oral Historian at the Imperial War Museum, author of several books on the Great War, including his most recent on Gallipoli. He is a popular speaker who is an internationally acknowledged expert on Gallipoli and has guided British Army staff tours around the battlefield. His talk will focus on the landings at V Beach, the role of the River Clyde, and the myth of the Turkish machine guns, all told through the words of the survivors.
