The two speakers for the day are Stuart Eastwood (Curator of the Border Regt and Kings Own Royal Border Regt Museum Carlisle) and his assistant Tony Goddard.
Stuart's talk will be: 2/4th Batt Border Regt in NW Frontier, 3rd Afghan War 1916 - 1919.
Tony will give a talk on The Christmas Truce.
The day will commence at 10.30 and on arrival tea, coffee and biscuits will be available, as will tickets for a raffle.
Included in the day along with the tea/coffee and biscuits will be a three course lunch and for those who wish to stay over at the hotel there is a reduction in room cost for WFA members.
The cost of the day is £18.50.
