Thomas Telford School recent Star Students were Aimee Chambers, Harriet Rushton and Thomas Jenkins from Year 8 who won the top prizes in this year's Western Front Association essay competition.
Following their visit to the Great War battlefields during October half term, the students completed essays on the First World War and Aimee was awarded first prize with Harriet in second place and Thomas as third prizewinner.
The competition is open to all schools in the Midlands so it is a tremendous result for TTS students to scoop the top prizes.
