The WFA at WDYTYA? 2011

wdytya_2011The WFA spent three very enjoyable, but very busy, days at the annual Who Do You Think You Are? exhibition and conference at Olympia from Friday to Sunday, 25-27 February 2011.

We met a lot of people, answered hundreds of personal family research queries, made many new friends, and saw some marvellous and fascinating artifacts of the Great War (more of which anon).

The whole team worked very well under Martin Hornby's stewardship, and Bruce's jokes were almost bearable this year.

Those who represented the WFA on the stand over the three days were:

Bruce Simpson

Martin Hornby

Andrew Lonergan

David Henderson

Fiona McGrath

Mark McGrath

David Tattersfield

Jane Backhouse

Pat Adamson

Michelle Young

Wayne Young

John Chester

Derek Bond

Bill Fulton

Judi Fitzpatrick

Steve Beeby

François Bergez (WFA Somme)

Peter Hart

Marina Burns

Dave Pocket

John Sly

Thanks also to Dawn Tattersfield for doing the bacon butty run.

We were also joined by colleagues from the Gallipoli Association on each of the three days.
