Thanks to Julie McDonald, the headteacher at Gainsborough Hillcrest Community Infant and Nursery School, we are able to show the pupils' "Thank you" to the fallen of the Great War.

Thorpe Le Fallows Great War Memorial, Lincolnshire
Two of our pupils joined members of the Lincoln and North Lincolnshire Western Front Association to say thank you at the Thorpe Le Fallows memorial.
We have followed the restoration of this memorial all year.
Gainsborough Cemetery, Lincolnshire
Four Year 2 pupils attended the ceremony by the CWGC who commemorated five of the Gainsborough Fallen from the Great War.
They placed crosses from our school to say "Thank you".
