Today saw The Western Front Association Annual Service of Remembrance held at The Cenotaph, Whitehall, London.
The service is held to remember the courage and comradeship of those on all sides who served their countries during The Great War of 1914-18.
Members of The Western Front Association and guests were accompanied by The Guard of Honour from 7 Company, The Coldstream Guards, The Khaki Chums, the Piper from the London Scottish Regiment, The Royal Star and Garter Homes, Children representing the Youth of the Nation, President and Chairman from The Western Front Association and members of The Victoria Cross and George Cross Association plus Ministers, Senior Military and Civil Servants (Dr Liam Fox, Secretary of State for Defence, DPWV Mr Andrew Robathan, PUS, CGS, CAS, First Sea Lord/CNS, VGCS).
