She writes that the images are of and by her grandfather who is easily recognisable from the thumbnail to the right in the many shots below.
He was, she writes, a corporal in The Duke of Cornwall Light Infantry, no 202357.
Then, it seems, he transferred to the Royal Engineers 3693
He survived the war but had been gassed, so he had no sense of smell.
We hope subsequently to research out more about him and to identify better some of the images shown.
