Pvt Oss Russell Miller, Bty C, 325 Field Artillery Regiment, US Army was born on 4 January 1896 near Kirklin, Clinton County.
Enlisting at Frankfort, Indiana on 21 Sept 1917, he was trained at Camp Taylor, Kentucky where he was to die, of appendicitis, on 15th January 1918. He is buried at McIntire Cemetery, Clinton County, Indiana.
