Eng Ward L Goul, 56th CAC, US Army.
Born in 1891, Ward was a regular soldier who enlisted on 31 August 1914 into the Coastal Artillery at Anderson, Ind. He was sent overseas in March 1918 and was badly wounded in November... within days of the war's end. He died of these wounds on 25 January 1919 at No.28 Evacuation Hospital and was buried in the American Military Cemetery at Nantes from where his body was repatriated post-war.
