18299 L/Cpl William Eggleston, 1/Coldstream Guards.
From Skipton, Yorkshire, William was 24 years of age when he died of wounds received on 24 January 1918 whilst under bombardment in Cork Support trench in the vicinity of Arras. He is now buried in Duisans Military cemetery.
