Born at Temse on 8 Oct 1895 (Edward) and 24 January 1897 (Frans) the brothers voluntarily enlisted together, served together in exactly the same unit, were promoted together and, unfortunately, died together during a raid near Steenstrate on the night of 26 March 1917. They are now also buried together in the crypt of the Ijzertoren and Dixmude.

Update from a WFA Facebook Page post on 30 March 2010:

Corporal Aimé FIEVEZ, born in Calonne (Tournai) on 07.03.1891, 6° Cie of the 24th Linie Regiment, n° 1911.
Died from a shellexplosion together with his serjeant Frans Van Raemdonck while he was treating his wounds. Only afterwards came serjeant Edward Van Raemdonck in search for his brother and probably was killed by German machinegun fire.
