19 April Pte William Sunderland

19-april-1918-pvt-william-sunderland235252 Pte William Sunderland, 14th Bn King's Liverpool Regiment.

Formerly serving in the 4th Bn Yorkshire Regiment (as 202707), William - of Burnley, Lancs - died of wounds in 31 CCS received whilst trench holding in the vicinity of Horseshoe Hill, Salonika. Originally interred in Janes Military Cemetery, his body was moved in 1921 and he is now buried in Sarigol Military Cemetery, Kristoni.
