28 April Pte Rennie Graham

28-april-1917-pte-rennie-graham34440 Pte Rennie Graham, 8th Battalion East Lancashire Regiment.

Born in Padiham in 1892, but living on Poets Road, Cheapside, Burnley, Rennie was posted as missing in action during his battalion's attack on ‘Greenland Hill' on 28 April 1917. He still has no known grave and is commemorated on Bay 6 of the Arras Memorial and also on the East Lancs regimental list on Padiham Town Memorial.
