4 May Vizefeldwebel Ferdinand Deichslberger

From Landau am Isar, 27 year old Ferdinand had served at the front since August 1914, during which time he had been awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class and the Verdienstkreuz with crown and swords. After being in constant action since 27th March, he was killed by shell-burst on 4th May 1918. he is now buried in Cambrai Soldatenfriedhof (block 9 , grave 40).
