Fahrer Alois Hofbauer, Bavarian Field Artillery (exact unit unknown).
After serving at the front for just over two years, 21 year old Alois was severely wounded by shellfire and died of his injuries on 14 June 1918 near Montdidier. He is now buried in the Franco-German military cemetery at Montdidier.
