Soldat Hans Piescher, 4 Komp, 16 Bav Res Inf Regt (12 Bav Res Bde, 6 Bav Res Div).
From Eggenfelden, Bavaria, Hans was just 20 years of age when he was fatally wounded by a rifle bullet in the vicinity of Terny. A veteran of numerous actions, Hans was a recipient of the Iron Cross 2nd Class and died, in a military hospital, on 18 June 1918. His grave location is unknown.
