Pionier August Altmannshofer (exact unit unknown).
From Thalham, Bavaria, August was born on 31 July 1882. On 25 June 1916, he was severely wounded in the feet and was transferred to a military hospital in Beuel near Bonn, Germany where he died, following surgery, on 28 June. He is now buried in the war cemetery at Beuel-Bonn.
