2 July 1916 Pte Roy Clingersmith

2_july_1916_pte_roy_clingersmith55590 Pte Roy Clingersmith, 19th Bn CEF (Central Ontario Regiment).

Born at Ridgetown, Ontario on 11 January 1892, Roy, whose civilian employment was ‘Clerk', enlisted into the army on 11 November 1914 at Saulte St.Marie, Ontario. He was killed by a minenwerfer projectile in ‘Trench 33', St.Eloi and is now buried in Bedford House CWGC Cemetery, Belgium.
