Pvt Frederick Clifford Lasley, Co F, 317th Engineers, US Army.
From Jeffersonville, Indiana, Frederick was born on 28 April 1887. A railway porter, he entered the US Army on 27 October 1917 at Cincinnati, Ohio and was trained at Camp Dodge. After seeing service in the Argonne, he was returned to the US suffering from severe gassing and died on 3 August 1919 at Columbus, Ohio from the effects of this gas. Burial location unknown.
