20 August 1914 Cpl Paulin Albin Jullian

Born at Chandolas (Ardeche) on 21 February 1890, Cpl Jullian was reported as missing in action at Dieuze-Vergaville on 20 August 1914. Buried by the Germans in a provisional cemetery at Vergaville as an ‘unknown' in 1914 (grave number 1178), his body was exhumed in 1920 and identification (his identity disc) was discovered on the remains. He now lies in the Necropole Nationale at Vergaville (grave number 19).
