Landwehrmann Franz Xaver Grundner, 8 Komp, Kgl Bayerisches 26 Infanterie-Regiment.
From Loha, Bavaria, Franz was 35 years of age when he was killed by a gunshot wound to the head whilst fighting the Rumanians to the north of Focsani. Though buried at the time, his grave was later lost.
