31 August 1918 Lt Kenneth Victor Elliott

Born 29 September 1894 at Sheridan, Indiana, Kenneth was attending Butler College, Indianapolis when he entered the First Officers Training Camp at Fort Benjamin Harrison. After being commissioned to Lieutenant, he went overseas on assignment to the 58th Infantry. He died of wounds received in Alsace on 31 August 1918 and was originally buried in Vittel Cemetery, Vosges (plot 258, grave 223) but his remains were moved, post war, to the Meuse-Argonne Cemetery at Romagne where he now lies in Plot B, Row 35, Grave 15.
