Landwehrmann Max Augenthaler, 6 Komp, Kgl Bayerisches Landwehr-Infanterie-Regiment Nr 2 (1 Bav Mxd Land Bde, 6 Bav Land Div).
From Holzhausen, Max was 34 years of age when he was killed in action near Evaux during the campaign in the Fecht Valley (Vosges). He is now buried in the Kameradengrab of the German Military Cemetery at Hohrod.
