25 September 1915 Infanterist Joseph BlochlInfanterist Joseph Blöchl, Kgl Bayerisches 10 Res Infanterie-Regiment, (11 Bay Res Inf-Bde, 5 Kgl Bay Res Div).

A farmer's son from Langfeld, 26 year old Joseph had served in the Artois since September 1914 (his unit suffering particularly badly during the fighting of 9 May 1915 in the Carency-Souchez sector - Joseph's regiment alone losing 35 officers and 1711 men). He was killed in action in the vicinity of Blangy - Neuville Vitasse on 25 September 1915 and now lies buried in the Kameradengrab of the German Military Cemetery at St Laurent-Blangy.
