Inf Johann Grill, Kgl Bay Reserve-Inf-Regt Nr 1, 12 Komp (1 Bay Res-Inf.-Bde , 1 Bay Res-Div).
From Inzell, Johann had fought in the Battle of the Frontiers before moving to the Arras front during ‘The Race to the Sea'. It was here that he was to fall in action on 4 October 1914. Johann was 25 years of age and he has no known grave.
