Sdt Matthias Krenn, 6 Komp Kgl Bay Infanterie-Leib-Regiment (1 Kgl Bay Jäger-Bde, Alpenkorps).
From Inneröd, Bavaria, Matthias was born on 23 January 1890. After seeing service in the Dolomites, Serbia, Verdun, Romania and Caporetto from 1915-17, Matthias was, in 1918, present at the Battle of the Lys and in Picardy during the ‘100 Days'. He was wounded near Walincourt just prior to departure for the Balkans and died in Res Lazerett Wörishofen on 15 October 1918. His grave location is unknown.
