Lieutenant John Le Roy Mavety, RAMC.
Born at Kingston, Ontario on 22 August 1886, John (BA: 1909, MD: 1913) was commissioned into the RAMC and received his Captaincy in May 1915. He served in France with the 46th Division and died whilst on active service on 13 December 1915. He is buried in St.Venant Communal Cemetery.
