Pvt Stanley Paszkiet, Battery E, 146th FAR, US Army.
From New Carlisle, Indiana, Stanley was born on 26 April 1896 and was a farmer by trade. He enlisted into the US regular army at South Bend in August 1917 and joined the AEF in France soon afterwards. After several months of front line service, he died of pneumonia in hospital in Verdun on 15 December 1918, his body being repatriated to the USA. He is buried in St.Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, Indiana.
