1st/Lt Frank Stanley Leonard, US Army Dental Corps.
Born 31 August 1891 at Indianapolis, Indiana, Frank was an instructor at Indiana Dental College before enlisting into the US Army Dental Corps in April 1917. After being stationed at Northwestern University, Illinois, he was then transferred to Evacuation Hospital Nr 4 at Oglethorpe, Georgia before moving to Allentown, Pennsylvania. Frank then saw service in France from 15 April 1918 where he died during the night of 12/13 January 1919 in the American Red Cross Hospital Nr 1 in Paris after being admitted a short time earlier suffering from pneumonia. Frank is buried in Suresnes American Cemetery, France.
