25 January 1919 Rev Justin ButlerRev Justin Butler, Chaplains' Dept, USNAS.

Born on 13 January 1890 at Hoboken, New Jersey, Justin was a Catholic priest who, as a student, had spent three years at Innsbruck, Austria. He had been ordained on 27 July 1918 and was living at Floyd-Knobs, Floyd Cty, Indiana at the time of his enlistment in New York on 28 November 1918. Assigned to Montauk Naval Air Station as Chaplain of the Knights of Columbus, he died of influenza in the Base Hospital at Montauk on 25 January 1919. Justin in buried in Jersey City, New Jersey.
