3 February 1919 U/Off Robert Scohy

3 February 1919 U/Off Robert Scohy106 U/Off Robert Scohy, 6é Linie Regt, Belgian Army.

Born at Beaumont on 25 September 1895, Robert was a serving soldier at the time of the outbreak of war. He was severely wounded during his first action at Haacht on 25/26 August 1914 and died of these injuries at Erquelinnes some four and a half years later on 3 February 1919. Originally buried at Erquelinnes, his present burial place in unknown, though it is likely that he was returned to his home-town.
