Inf Franz Epp, KuK Inf-Regt. 99 ‘ Georg I, von Hellenen'.
From Groß - Schweinbarth in Austria, Franz was born on 23 June 1893. Already a serving soldier at the time of the outbreak of war, he was stationed in Vienna before being mobilized for action against the Russians in Galicia. Taken prisoner in the early campagns in the East, he died in a prisoner of war camp at Krasnojarsk, Siberia on 31 March 1915. Grave location unknown.
