11 April 1918 Pvt Clyde Samuel CollinsPvt Clyde Samuel Collins, Co C, 6th Field Bn, US Army Signal Corps.

Born at Folsomville, Warrick Cty on 16 November 1896, Clyde was a railway employee before he was drafted for service at Evansville on 22 February 1918. Sent to Fort Leavenworth, Kansas for training, he contracted pneumonia soon afterwards and died of this in the Post Hospital at Ft Leavenworth on 11 April 1918. Clyde is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Evansville, Indiana.
