Kanonier Mathias Trauner, Kgl Bay 11 Fußartillerie-Bataillon.
A farmer from Judenhof, Mathias was a 42 year old reservist who had seen previous service as an infantryman earlier on in the war until he was medically discharged. Recalled as an artilleryman, he was killed in action by shell explosion near Montdidier on 27 April 1918. Mathias is now buried in Vermandovillers German Cemetery (Block 2, Grave 787).
