Sdt Louis Herman De Maeyer, 11 Cie, 16é Linie Regiment.
Born at Wolvertem on 3 July 1896, Louis was wounded on the Yser Front and transferred to the Military Hospital at de Panne where he died on 9 May 1917. He is buried in the Belgian Military Cemetery at Adinkerke (grave 665).
