10 May 1915 Pte Emile Fournier26321 Pte Emile Fournier, 14th Bn CEF.

Born in Canada on 1 February 1896, Emile was a tailor by trade. He enlisted on 11 August 1914 and attested at Valcartier on 21 September 1914. Proceeding to the UK later that year, he arrived in France in March 1915 and was soon heavily involved in the Second Battle of Ypres. Wounded near Langemark, Emile died in hospital near Boulogne on 10 May 1915 and is now buried Boulogne Eastern Cemetery.
