Pvt John Adams, Medical Det, 334th Infantry Regt, US Army.
Born 7 March 1895 at Haddon, Sullivan Cty, John was working as a farmer at the time of his enlistment on 23 June 1918. Trained at Camp Sherman, Ohio, he was sent overseas on 2 September 1918. He died of appendicitis at Bordeaux on 13 May 1919 and his body repatriated. John is now buried at Shepherd Cemetery near Carlisle, Indiana.
