Sdt Johann Dieplinger, 12 Komp Kgl Bay 12 Res Inf-Regt.
31 year old Johann was a farmer from Diepling, Bavaria. An Ersatz-Reservist, he was recalled in August 1914 and saw most of his active service in the Artois. He was killed in action near Arras during an artillery bombardment on 14 May 1915 and is now buried in the Kameradengrab of the German Military Cemetery at St Laurent-Blangy.
