Musk Jakob Schröder, Kgl Bay 30 Inf-Regt.
From Brudbergerau, Bavaria, Jakob was born in 1897. He enlisted into the army in December 1916, and he saw action on the Aisne and at Cote 304 near Verdun during 1917. After transferring to the Bezonvaux sector in the early spring of 1918, Jakob was killed in action on 27 May during ‘live' training in assault and machine gun tactics and he has no known grave.
