Inf Josef Brandmüller, Kgl Bay 12 Infanterie-Regiment ‘Prinz Arnulf', 6 Komp.
A 21 year old hotelier from Rieden, Bavaria, Josef had been serving since the earliest days of the war. He saw action at the Frontiers, Somme and Artois throughout 1914 and 1915. Subsequently, he was transferred in May 1916 to Verdun where, on 8 June 1916, Josef was posted as missing. His body was never identified.
