Inf Johann Ev Leinauer, Kgl Bay 20 Inf Regt ‘Prinz Franz', 12 Komp.
A recalled reservist, 25 year old Johann had seen action on the Somme and at Arras during 1915. He was killed in action during an assault in the Douaumont sector at Verdun on 9 June 1916 and now lies buried in the German Military Cemetery of Azannes (II) - block 3, grave 12.
