Inf Rez Franz Xavier Guggemos, Kgl Bay Inf-Regt 20 ‘Prinz Franz' (8 Komp).
Born on 16 January 1889, Franz had seen service in the Battle of the Frontiers before settling on the Somme front in October 1914. He was killed in action at Fay (Somme) on 31 July 1915 and he is now buried in the Kameradengrab at the German Military Cemetery at Rancourt.
