3 September 1916 Adj Paul Roger BeaurepaireEV/54 Adj Paul Roger Beaurepaire, 102e Regiment d'Infanterie, 10 Cie.

Born in Paris on 24 May 1894, Paul had voluntarily enlisted into the army at St Lo in 1912. He was a veteran of the Battle of the Frontiers, the Marne and the Champagne battles of 1915, during which Paul was to gain the Croix de Guerre with a brigade citation. He was killed in action near Verdun whilst his regiment was attacking at Thiaumont. Paul has no known grave.
