Gefr Alois Saller, 4 Bay Landst Inf Bn ‘Augsburg'.
A pig-farmer from Erding, Bavaria, Alois was born in Erding in 1884. He saw war-time service from August, 1914. He was killed in action near Ypres on 10 September 1917 and is now buried in the Kameradengrab at the German Military Cemetery at Langemark.
