Pvt Lawrence A Easterday, Bat B, 19th FAR.
Born 13 June 1886 at Onward, Cass County, Indiana, Lawrence was an engineer in civilian life. He enlisted at Peru, Indiana on 4 June 1917 and, after training at Ft Thomas, Kentucky, was assigned to the 19th Field Artillery. Lawrence embarked for overseas service on 27 May 1918 but he was accidentally killed on 19 September 1918. Lawrence's body was repatriated post-war.
