From Roanne, Loire (residing at the rue du Moulins), Paul was born on 15 October 1881. A recalled reservist, he saw action during the Battle of Sarrebourg and in Picardy. He was killed in action on 24 September 1914 at Canny sur Matz. Paul has no known grave.
