26 September 1914 Inf Josef Forster

26 September 1914 Inf Josef ForsterInf Josef Forster, Kgl Bay 2 Komp, 11 Inf-Regt ‘von der Tann’.

From Thalham, Bavaria, Josef was an office worker in civilian life, although he was a serving soldier at the outbreak of war. Aged 22 years at his death, he was killed in action during an attack at Camp des Romans near St Mihiel on 26 September 1914. He has no known grave.
