K Sch Josef Spiegel, KuK K Sch Rgt Nr 3. Born at Dornbirn, Austria on 17 May 1878, Josef was a mason in civilian life. A recalled reservist, he re-enlisted in July 1914 and saw service in some of the very earliest campaigns of the war. Josef was killed in action on 19 October 1914 at Przemysl and buried locally. The location of his grave has, unfortunately, gone unrecorded.
