26 October Lt Lynn Y Shoub

26 October Lt Lynn Y Shoub2/Lt Lynn Y Shoub, Co E, 151st Infantry, US Army.

Born in Delta, Ohio on 12 January 1891, Lynn was an employee of the Wabash Railroad at Fort Wayne, Indiana before enlistment into the US Army pre-war. After seeing service in Mexico in 1916, he left the Army, but re-enlisted in April 1917. Commissioned at Camp Shelby, Lynn was sent overseas in October 1918, but he died in Liverpool of influenza on 26 October. He was originally buried in Liverpool American Cemetery, but his remains were repatriated post-war.
