28 October 1918 Pvt Guy StephensPvt Guy Stephens, Co 9, Ammunition Train, US Army.

A labourer from Crawfordsville, Indiana, Guy was born on 16 September 1895. He was drafted into the army on 24 July 1918 and sent to Camp Taylor, Kentucky where he was assigned to 41st Co, 11th Training Battalion, 159th Depot Bde. After moving to Camp McClellan, he was transferred to the Ammunition Train. Guy contracted pneumonia at Camp McClellan and died there on 28 October 1918. He is buried in the Masonic Cemetery, Crawfordsville.
